Thora

Meet Thora, a bold new public hop variety developed by the Hop Quality Group and the USDA Agricultural Research Service. Named after the Old Norse word Þórr, meaning “thunder,” Thora delivers a powerful sensory experience from field to glass. This groundbreaking variety is the first born from HQG and USDA-ARS’s decade-long collaboration—uniting brewers, growers, and researchers to create a hop that thunders with flavor and agronomic strength.
